Canada’s leading casino operator, Great Canadian Entertainment, is taking live entertainment to the next level by joining hands with Live Nation Canada. Through partnerships, the two companies provide world-class music and comedy shows to businesses’ properties across the country. This includes the upcoming Canadian casino resort Toronto and theaters.
Founded in 1982, Great Canadian Entertainment is a leading Canadian game and hospitality company operating 25 venues across Ontario, British Columbia, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. As part of the latest deal, Live Nation Canada will become an exclusive booking agent and both parties will work together to promote the upcoming event. This partnership is the first in Canada and is expected to boost live entertainment at game operator casinos across the country, including venues in Ontario, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia.

Earlier this year, Great Canadian Entertainment announced that Great Canadian Casino Resort Toronto will begin work in the summer of 2023. The new gaming venue will have the largest gaming floor in the country and the C$1 billion resort will be located at the intersection of Highway 401 and Highway 427, close to Woodbine Racecourse.
The game operator also informed that the existing casino Woodbine in the region will continue to work uninterrupted until a new C$1 billion resort is introduced. The new property will officially open sometime in the summer of 2023 and the gambling leader said it will offer an official opening date in the coming weeks.
